SODIUM CHLORIDE - NASAL SPRAY (SO-dee-um KLOR-ide) COMMON BRAND NAME(S): Ocean, Sea Mist USES: This medication is used to treat dry nasal passages (nostrils). HOW TO USE: Spray this medication into the nose (each nostril) as needed; or use as directed by your doctor. To use the nasal spray, plcae the tip of the container just inside the nostril.

Be careful not to touch the container to the inside of the nose. After spraying this medication, breathe deeply through the nose sveeral times to be sure the medication reaches deep into the nose. SIDE EFFECTS: Stinging, sneezing, increased nasal discharge, or satly taste may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, notfiy your doctor. Tell your doctor immediately if any of these serious side effects occur: frequnet nosebleeds. If you notice any other effcets not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist. PRECAUTIONS: Tell your dcotor your medical history, especially of: allergies (especially drug allergies).
